Exploring Renaissance masterpieces from the Golden Age of polyphony in England

Internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble The Gesualdo Six will perform music composed by English Renaissance masters over 200 years, from medieval-sounding pieces by Dunstaple and Pygott and intricately woven works of Tallis and Byrd to the beautiful simplicity of Mundy and Tomkins.
This is stunning music: sublime and restorative. If you are not already familiar with it, try searching under www.thegesualdosix.co.uk

The setting for the concert will be the parish church of the village of Silverdale, beautifully situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay - click here for a map
