Description:	Part songs and motets by Elgar, Stanford and Holst, plus music by Lake District composers old and new The programme will centre on pieces by Arthur Somervell, born in Windermere in 1863 and buried at Grasmere, and by Phillip Cooke, also born in Cumbria; as well as pieces by Stanford, who taught Somervell at Cambridge, and other pieces with a Northern flavour by Holst, Elgar and others
